Why not make all gear capped at maybe lvl 60 or 90 requirements and make it maximum 380 ilvl with each colour of the gear having different ilvl by maybe a 5 and then implement various kinds of sets giving different bonuses and mechanics or even skills. Why should they spend so much time today, if tomorrow everything will be flipped by 180 degrees and they have to start over again? Whats the point of spending time on something that is as stable as a private server themselves? Not only that, but it takes from players any reason to actually care anymore about the progression.
With current expansion politics in WoW isnt vertical gear progression the thing that ultimately kills the game for many people?Įvery patch or expansion there are new system being implemented around the equipment in the game and game progress, there is always something new to be added to the game which makes an older gear more and more irrelevant and creates a power creep, where blizzard has to adjust time and time again raids, dungeons and stuff like that. Does vertical gear progression system makes sense today in this current form and current game we are all playing?
